Hello everyone, three months ago I bought a desktop PC that contains an AMD A10 processor paired with a Radeon chipset.

I would like to know if it is possible to replace my chipset with a graphics card while keeping my processor.

Thank you for your reply.

    Your motherboard has a PCI-Express 16X slot, so you can add a GPU in that slot. In principle, when you add a GPU, the IGP of the APU is disabled.

      Hi epango

      I also think that we can combine the two together for more performance, it all depends on the AMD, I believe.

      It's possible, but it must not be easy to organize.

      Well, it seems to me that it's automatic; the one with the APU at rest is the priority, and as soon as a game starts, the card with the APU kicks in, if we can say it like that... lol... anyway, let's see and confirm; maybe I'm also way off base...

      Good night ++

    I have a PCI-Express 16X slot, so I could add a graphics card.

    Thank you for your response.
