SIM CARD READER

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a specific SIM card reader.

I need to find a SIM card reader that allows it to be viewed as a removable disk (accessible from the computer).

First, does such a reader exist?

If so, do you know of one?

THANK YOU

Sorry for the late reply to this message, I believe the underlying issue is no longer really relevant today, but with the Sim card reader from the Heden brand (it might work with others, but I don't know), I happened to read my Sim card on my computer with the provided software and found in my contact list names that I had deleted and that no longer appeared on the phone.
I hope my experience can at least be useful to someone.

Hi,

While browsing the forum, I came across one of your replies to a SIM card issue. Here is my problem. I just bought a Heden USB reader, but the software doesn't seem to recognize the reader, and especially doesn't see the SIM card.

This has happened to me before with another reader, and I thought it would work with this Heden reader. Could you please possibly guide me on some solutions?

Thank you in advance.

Steffi

I understand your problem, but I don't think it's possible...
You would like to see the contacts in file form? I don't think that's possible due to the chip's encryption. But that's just my opinion...
See you soon Illrrr

In fact, a salesperson from my company accidentally deleted his directory.

He lost all his contacts.

I need to be able to recover them using basic data recovery software... but for that, the SIM card needs to be recognized as a removable disk.

That's the heart of my problem...

Please, it's really important...

Does anyone have information about this?

THANK YOU

Again, I understand your problem, but I am a bit ignorant about file recovery processes and whether SIM cards can retain deleted information (which I doubt), and I imagine you have no way to recreate this directory without it...

It seems impossible to redo the directory without it.

I believe that the information and data are still stored on the SIM card, only the access paths have been deleted.

I just need to see the SIM card as a removable disk, then there shouldn't be any problem.
I have the necessary data recovery software for that...

Please, I really need this tool...
