compatibility Creative MP3 player/Mac OS X Solved

Question

Hello everyone!
We bought a Creative Zen V Plus MP3 player but... we have a Mac.
So I wanted to know if anyone had a solution, a workaround to make our Creative player compatible with Mac OS X (version 10.4.4).

Hello,

A "Creative Zen V plus" costs between 100 and 250 euros depending on its capacity.
So, here’s what you can do:

Solution 1: You want to keep your Mac. So, if it's still possible, take your Creative Zen back to where you bought it, get a refund, and buy a 100% Mac compatible player: an iPod.

Solution 2: You want to keep your Creative Zen. So, buy a new Intel Mac, purchase Windows, and install it on the Intel Mac, and then you’ll be able to manage the music on your Creative Zen from your Mac.

Solution 3: You want to keep both your Mac AND your Creative Zen. So, you need to pray for someone to develop the right driver. Keep in mind that if Creative had wanted to make their product Mac compatible, they would have already released the driver.

I'm in the same situation with my Creative player, so I downloaded this software. After installing XNJB, on my Mac 10.4.10, the software does not recognize the player. So I'm wondering if I should buy an iPod!!!

Hello, I installed XNJB to transfer my music and video data to my Creative ZEN
the software recognizes the player very well but be careful

>> the player does not "mount" on the desktop like a regular drive, it is only accessible via the software interface!!

it's the same for my Samsung mp3 player

that's the little problem on Mac but thanks to the developer of XNJB WHO IS DOING HIS BEST TO MAKE OUR MACS COMPATIBLE... or to make pro Windows stuff a little more accessible

the software manages playlists, duplicates....

By connecting the Zen Stone and restarting the Mac, the drive mounts automatically. It is recognized as an external disk. Bye.

For those who have downloaded it but it doesn't work for them, you need to go to Jukebox and connect... there your Creative should connect automatically!!!

A big thank you to Ned Flanders and his link, I was fed up with all this nonsense and I was about to have a wild bonfire with my Mac and my Creative Mozaic.  Phew, I can keep both!!!  A little message to Mac: when you want to keep exclusivity for your mp3s, you try to make sure they are completely intact.  I listen to my music but also to the radio with my mp3.

Hello everyone,  For those who are struggling with the program mentioned above and their Zen.  I encountered the same problem, and it is completely "normal" that the Mac does not recognize it; you can only transfer your data through the interface of the xnjb program.  Just open the program (don't forget to plug in the MP3... yes, it sometimes happens that we get frustrated for nothing), go to "data" and with the little arrows pointing down (your Mac) or up (your MP3), you will create your playlists...  Don't forget, prolonged use of earbuds can damage your ears; )!
