Hello,
I am new to the forum so I hope you can help me.
When I save a PowerPoint presentation on my PC, the following message appears: "An error that could make PowerPoint unstable has occurred. Save your presentations and restart PowerPoint."
I can only save to the desktop but nowhere else, it's a pain...
If someone can help me, that would be nice.
Thank you for the attention you will give to my message.
Best regards.

Hello, I experienced this issue. For my part, it was due to the fact that the file was also visible via the Windows preview pane (which creates an access). PowerPoint cannot save a file that is (for Windows) opened twice. On my end, when I exited the file preview, the saving went smoothly.
I remain available if my explanations are unclear.

      Hi,
I have exactly the same issue, what do you call the preview pane?
If you could clarify this for me, it would really help me out!

Hello, I don't know if this will still be useful to you, but the preview pane is what allows you to view the file directly from the Windows Explorer.
Essentially, in Explorer, when you click on the file, you see the file on the right side of the Explorer, which creates an access point.
There you go, I hope this helped you.

We had the issue > OS in English and Keyboard English Belgium. We switched to English UK, no more issues.

Well, thank you! I could have gotten worked up for a long time; I had indeed activated the preview pane... I've disabled it and everything is working again!
      A thousand thanks!
