Hello,
I just encountered some problems with a television.
It is a Philips 3000 series TV. After a storm, I unplugged everything at home. Once the storm passed, I plugged the power strip back in, and there was a loud crack!!!
All the other devices on the outlet are fine (Box, alarm clock, lamp).
It simply refuses to turn on. No LED. Nothing.
There are no other symptoms. The TV seems very recent, but I do not know if it is under warranty. A friend who left for abroad gave it to me a week ago. However, apparently, there is no history of failure with this device.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hello,
I have contacted Philips customer service twice.
The first time went very well, a young man who was very attentive and understanding. He just needed the date and place of purchase to process the warranty, which I completely understand.
So I contacted my friend who provided me with the necessary information.
During the second call to Philips customer service, I spoke with a very cold lady who told me that anyway, if the invoice was not in my name, Philips would do nothing to repair the television "Goodbye Sir".
So now I find myself in a situation where Philips refuses to repair a product that is still under manufacturer's warranty!!!
What should I do?
