Hello,

I noticed that I have a hello folder in program files (4 files and 0 folders), and the same hello folder in program files x86 (23 files, 20 folders). In these folders, there are some duplicate files like mDNSResponder.exe

Is this normal or should one of them be deleted? Best regards

Configuration: Windows 7 SP1 64 bits
Radeon HD 5570 overclock / 4GB of DDR3 RAM / AMD Athlon II 64 X2 250 3GHz
Firefox / Antivir / COMODO

Hi,

this is not a recent or unknown problem; if you installed iTunes, it's a folder created during that installation.

You will find all the information about this previous case

Nothing serious.

See you soon

I know that it installs with iTunes, but what I find strange is that it is located in both Program Files and Program Files (x86).

Normally, software is found in either one or the other, but not in both.

It's not an unshakable truth; a simple update can create directories in different locations (bad programming or Windows quirks). I've encountered this case without a real explanation as to why, but since this directory actually tracks your surfing habits, it's not a bad idea to delete it!

Ok, thanks for your reply. If worst comes to worst, I'll uninstall Bonjour with Revo, then delete the folders and reinstall, right?

Well, if you reinstall the program, it will recreate the folder, you delete it and it won't interfere with the functioning of iTunes!

When I try to delete it, there's a file that is already in use... like by Chrome... so I exit Chrome and then it's being used by Avast... so it's weird that something from iTunes is lurking in other applications. It's like we can't delete it because at some point, it's being used by Windows x) it feels like a kid hiding under the skirt of all the running applications and I'm the guy who's going to kill it, like okay I'm going far away...
