deleting the file "hello" Solved

Hello

I have a little problem with a program that installed itself without my knowledge; it's called "Bonjour." I can't uninstall it, especially the file mdnsNSP.dll. I tried disabling system restore and restarting in safe mode, but to no avail.

If anyone has a solution, it would help me a lot.

Here's the method found on the "virus" forum:
"Hi,
To remove this kind of file/service actf on your PC, you just need to start your PC in safe mode by pressing the F8 key several times until you get a screen where you can choose safe mode, and then you'll be able to delete the file you want."
I add that the "hello" folder is located in C:\program files.
And there you go!

Hello everyone :p, regarding that famous Bonjour found in program files, if your antivirus hasn't detected anything, it's because it's not a malicious program even though it's called "Bonjour" and we really wonder what it's for if not to be malicious.. If we look a little closer, we notice that it contains a help file:
"
Hello, which could also be called "zero-configuration networking," allows you to automatically discover computers, devices, and services on IP networks. Bonjour uses industry-standard IP-based protocols to enable automatic and mutual discovery of devices without having to enter IP addresses or configure DNS servers.
"

You might say that doesn't necessarily prove it's harmless, but you can always go into the properties of your connection and prevent its connection to the outside world (see: blocking the ports of your connection)

Well, there's really no need to panic. In fact, this so-called virus is not a virus at all; it's simply a folder that iTunes installs during its installation.

For those who still want to get rid of it, it "just" takes doing this:

"Start" -> "Run" -> type services.msc. Find the service ##Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762## and stop it.

Then go to Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and stop the mDNsReponder.exe process. Next, you need to download/install Unlocker and navigate to the "Bonjour" folder and "unlock" the .dll

All that's left is to delete the Bonjour folder.

This service is useless and installed without your consent.

You simply need to go to Add/Remove Programs (located in the Control Panel), select the "Bonjour" program, and click Remove. I don’t understand why IT professionals talk to you about downloading programs, "unlocking" the .dll, etc., when just speaking French and going where a 4-year-old could go gets you the same result. Honestly, I'm not good with computers, and yet I managed to do it. I'm not bragging, but I'm just telling you the simple procedure to follow: Control Panel, Remove Program, Bonjour program, Remove, and there you go.

For my part, I can't "uninstall" the Bonjour program, as it notifies me of error 2330... and while trying the slightly more complex procedures mentioned, I realize that neither the service nor the process is running!
