Pb avec un script cgi chez ovh

bonjour à tous, j'ai un petit soucis avec un script en cgi
je suis hebergé chez ovh et voici le contenu de mon script:
#!/bin/sh
echo -e "Content-type: text/html\n"
$user = $_GET (users_id);
echo "$random"
j'appel mon script avec l'url suivante:
http://www.mon-domaine.com/cgi-bin/mon-script.cgi?users_id=18
je devrais donc voir s'afficher 18 dans ma page mais celle ci reste blanche
auriez-vous une idée ??
