restoration stuck at 48% then new restoration etc... Solved

Question

Good evening,

my PS3 Slim only turns on to prompt for a restore.

I do it, it gets stuck at 48%, the screen goes off and after several minutes the PS3 resets itself and offers the restore again.

It does not flash yellow on startup, but has a solid green light.

Here is the message:

The file system of the system storage is corrupted and will be restored
OK.

I can't find the recovery mode as indicated here:

Before doing OPTION 2, make sure you know your login ID (email address) and your password, in order to restore your account.  NOTE:During this operation, the default settings of the system software and information related to the user currently logged in are restored. Please be careful when carrying out this operation, as changes to settings cannot be undone. The user is responsible for any loss or alteration of data. You will need to re-enter the login ID and password for PlayStation®Network and restore the internet connection.  -- Look at what we've done to the world, look at what we're leaving to our kids.

Did you turn off your console during the save?  Try checking at a store like Micromania, they might be able to help you ;)

not during a backup but maybe just before the complete shutdown of the console and I'm still not sure.  What will this kind of store do?  :)

If you have a warranty, they can exchange it for you; otherwise, try to find a cheap repair service.

I don't believe in the warranty... do you know the issue? the HDD? It's not a YLOD, right? A repair person can be found :)

The last time the console shut down, it was flashing green. This time I pressed and held the power button until it turned off. I think!

normally it should go quickly, if you see that it takes time, stop the console and start again by doing option 2  -- look at what we've done to the world, look at what we're leaving to our kids

There is no percentage. It's a black screen with white text.

yes it's true lol, where are we at? because logically it should go quickly ^^.

if nothing changes, you might have to try option 4 or at worst format it but you'll lose your data :)
