Restoration stuck at 48% then new restoration etc...

Good evening,

my PS3 Slim only turns on to prompt for a restore.

I do it, it gets stuck at 48%, the screen goes off and after several minutes the PS3 resets itself and offers the restore again.

It does not flash yellow on startup, but has a solid green light.

Here is the message:

The file system of the system storage is corrupted and will be restored
OK.

I can't find the recovery mode as indicated here:

Thank you

Hello,

Do OPTION 3 of recovery mode:

https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/31598-ps3-le-mode-recovery

Here's a short video to show you how to access it:

==> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ieg4NCnkGNE

If you still have the issue after that, do OPTION 2.

Before doing OPTION 2, make sure you know your login ID (email address) and your password, in order to restore your account.

NOTE:During this operation, the default settings of the system software and information related to the user currently logged in are restored. Please be careful when carrying out this operation, as changes to settings cannot be undone. The user is responsible for any loss or alteration of data. You will need to re-enter the login ID and password for PlayStation®Network and restore the internet connection.

Yes, that's true, sorry I’m juggling quite a few topics, so I was a bit quick to respond to you. Well, listen, I only see option 4 and at worst option 5 but there you will lose everything.

it's fine no stress! I'm going to lose everything if I have something! now I apparently have nothing :) I'm trying. Option 4 doesn't work either. I'm testing 5

Edit: 5 works! formatting done (?) . I'm connected, for now everything works! I'm going to reinstall the saves and the system update on usb.

Thank you very much! it saves me from buying a HDD for 50-60€!

In the end no need to update the system.
