Hello everyone, I would like some help as I'm facing a little annoying problem that I can't seem to solve on my own.
I just bought the game Prison Architect on Steam, but unfortunately, I can't play it. Indeed, when I click on "play," the game starts, but the screen remains black, and the only solution is to turn off my computer since even Ctrl Alt Delete doesn't work.
I had encountered this problem before with another Steam game, but I fixed it by changing the game options to windowed mode in the launch window.
I suspect this is a screen resolution issue, but since this game doesn't offer a window before launching to adjust the resolution or graphics, I'm not sure where to go to fix this.
I already tried using the "set launch options" to put "-w" as I found in my research, but that didn't work.
I also tried putting -w 1366 -h 768 (my resolution), but that didn't work either.
Since this is the first time I'm encountering this type of problem, I'm not sure what to do anymore. Thank you in advance for your help.

Do you have a firewall?
I know that Comodo tends to do that, I've had the problem before.
Try running the game as an admin and check if you have all the requirements.
If that doesn't work, edit the configuration file to play in windowed mode.

When I launch BO2, it bugs, it loads, and it shows a black screen. Could you please help me?
Yes, I indeed have Comodo, I disabled it and then launched the game and it started up fine in full screen mode.
