Hello everyone,
a few days ago I downloaded xpadder.exe, which allows you to configure game controllers for PC use. The issue arose when I wanted to uninstall this program. Indeed, I cannot close the program and it starts automatically at the beginning of each session. I tried to close it with the task manager but it does not appear there, I also cannot uninstall it from the Windows programs manager, finally, I can delete all files related to this program but it does not disappear anyway.

To launch it, you just need to run it in maximum compatibility mode, and it was impossible to delete it that way. However, I finally succeeded a few minutes ago by turning off my PC. I received the message "the following program is preventing Windows from shutting down", I forcibly closed the programs and canceled the shutdown, and I deleted everything with the name XPadder on my PC by searching in (C:).

You have the icon in the notification area (icon resembling a game controller)
Right-click on it > Close (Middle Mouse button/wheel click)
After that, can you delete it?
My version does not install, in my case I would just have to delete the Xpadder folder, maybe it's the same for you?
