Pivot table - absence of certain data

Hello,

I am using Excel 2010. From a data table, I created a pivot table (PT) to analyze the large amount of data in the table.
I correctly select the entire table containing the data to analyze, and the PT is generated as I want. To make it short, the goal is to summarize the number of hours worked by group, totaling the number of hours given by each teacher for that group.
My basic data therefore consists of the group number, the teacher, and the number of hours that the teacher has worked.

However, some data does not appear in the PT, although it is indeed included in the data table.

For example, some groups are missing in the PT. In other cases, a group appears correctly, but one of the teachers linked to that group does not appear.

I have tested all options in the field settings or in the PT options, but I can't resolve it. I also tried to include only the "teachers" field in my PT, and the same issue occurs; some do not appear in the list.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you in advance!

I experienced the same situation, and even when selecting the table, it didn't work. I then found the solution and the reason. The reason: I created a table and added columns afterwards (more specifically, I inserted columns into my table). So, even though visually those columns were in my table, they were not part of it. Solution: Click anywhere in the table, go to the Design tab, and resize the table. Select all the columns and rows of the table. Once done, refresh the pivot table, and there you go.
