Hello,
In a few days, there is a birthday in my family, and since I’m in charge of the entertainment, I took some measures: I bought a beginner's budget mixing table called "Ibiza, mix-800", and I also purchased a powerful-looking microphone called "Movistar DYN5".
I want to connect the microphone to my mixing table, which will be connected to my PC, which in turn will have the sound linked to my hi-fi system (which will serve as an amplifier).
I have a cable with a red wire and a white wire on each side (which was sold with the table) that I believe is used to connect the table to the PC. To do this, I bought an adapter that converts the red and white wire into a jack plug that I then connect to the microphone input of my PC. However, when I plug this in, nothing happens; the table does not seem to be connected... What to do?
Can someone guide me on the setup to output audio from my microphone and music from my PC through my hi-fi system?
Thanks in advance, I really need this!

Hello.
The Ibiza mix800 equipment is designed to connect to an amplifier with L R Amp outputs.
It is not designed to connect to a PC.

My mistake, I didn't notice the phonetic line shift.
On Monday, I'm going to Electro Depot to buy an adapter and I'll let you know if it works.
Thanks anyway!

Hello,
I will try to understand your problem in order to solve it.
You have a mixing console like this one:
https://www.sonovente.com/ibiza-mix-800-p37887.html
and you want to connect this console to a Hi-Fi system.
At first glance, the console should be connected to the Hi-Fi system via the AMP output to an Auxiliary input on the Hi-Fi system using an RCA male-to-male cord:
https://www.touslescables.com/b.php?a=Z4HL&c=Voi&h=661
Now the console needs to be connected to the devices that provide the sound:
-the microphone to the Mic L or R inputs (it's possible to use a stereo microphone with two 6.35mm Jack plugs on this console)
-the PC which will be used to play music from its green output jack 3.5
with a male 3.5 jack to two RCA plugs, one red and one white connected to the CD input:
http://www.touslescables.com/jack-3,5mm (male 3.5 stereo jack to 2 X RCA female adapter)
Once these connections are made, check:
- that the PC is playing sound at a reasonable volume (before connecting it to the console, plug a headset to check)
- that the switch for the CD input is set to Stereo, the volume is opened to 1/4, and the fader is adjusted
- connect a headset to the front of the console (headphone output)
- that the Hi-Fi system is switched to auxiliary with a reasonable volume
The sound from the PC is audible in the headset and in the Hi-Fi speakers, adjust the entry (gain) and exit (volume) settings on both the console and the Hi-Fi system.
As for the microphone, simply connect it to the corresponding jack on the console
The volume control is on the left side of the console, the Talk-Over switch opens or closes this input, and the CUE switch allows listening through the headphones to either the microphone, Input A, Input B, or the CD input.
The Line1 and Line2 inputs can be switched to Phono input.
The input switched to phono is preamplified to connect a vinyl player,
when switched to Line, it is at line level.
To mix the MP3 files on your PC, a DJ mixing software is essential. Virtual DJ is very useful and can be downloaded for free at this address: https://virtual-dj.fr.download.it/
To mix with vinyl turntables, connect them to the Phono 1 & 2 inputs.
To mix with CD players, connect them to Line 1 & 2.
I hope I have answered your question, I remain available for further clarification, best regards...

Hello,
I will try to answer your questions.
The Ibiza mix800 mixer does indeed connect to an amplifier via the L R Amp output, which is a line-level output. The HI-FI system has an amplifier; you just need to connect the line output to a line input of the system to play the sound through the HI-FI.
The HI-FI system should have several line inputs and likely a Phono input to which a turntable is connected, as it has a lower level.
As for connecting a PC to the Ibiza mix800, no problem; the green output jack from the PC is a line output with a volume that can be adjusted by the PC, which helps prevent saturating the mixer’s input.
The sound from the PC, played through any media player software (Windows Media Player, Winamp, or others), will be sent to the mixer’s line input and then directed by the mixer to the amplifier (in this case, the HI-FI system).
Always available, best regards
