Hello everyone...
I need a little technical help with Adobe Premiere CS6: I usually have no problem using it, but this time... I want to manipulate .mp4 files recorded with a Sony PMW150, but Premiere refuses to acknowledge these files, claiming they have neither audio nor video streams... I find that a bit hard to believe, especially since vlc opens and plays them without any issues... I've checked my version of Quicktime, which is completely up to date, and I've searched for any codec to no avail.... Premiere is supposed to work with .mp4 files without any issues...
If anyone among you has a solution, I would be grateful!
Thank you very much!

Test to see if the codecs are suitable, then convert everything.
On PC, I use Format Factory, but I have no idea what software is suitable for Mac.
I don't know what this could be due to, but otherwise, find out which codecs are used by your video and try to install them.
VLC uses its own codecs, so it's normal that it can play it.
