Hello.
I found several articles and tutorials on the subject but with no result.
I can play the video on VLC but cannot manage to record it.
Thank you for your responses.
Best regards;

Hello,
If you already have your video as a file, the tutorials should have led you to this on VLC:Media>Convert/Save
In the new window that opened:
"Add" (on the right) --> select your file from youtubethen "Browse" (at the bottom) --> choose the destination for your converted file, give it a name by specifying the appropriate file extension (e.g., "myPiece.mp4").
Don’t forget to manually select the format of conversion that you are interested in from the available list.
Finally, "convert".
If you do not have a youtube file, you can use a browser extension designed for this purpose that will extract your youtube video directly for you, thus you will have your video _ that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are even converters from youtube videos to audio files (search among the available extensions).
On Filezilla it can be found in "Extensions and themes" after clicking the button in the upper right corner of your browser (the three stacked lines) and look for the right keyword to find what you're looking for_ e.g., "youtube extractor".
On chrome, you will need to go through "google chrome web store" to find your piece extractor, then install it.
