The lamp turns on when I receive a text message

Hello,

I have a Galaxy Note 2. Since the last update, every time I receive an SMS, the flash light blinks and sometimes the phone starts talking to announce the arrival of a message.

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to disable this feature. I couldn't find anything in the settings.

    I found: in accessibility the light mode in hearing was enabled. But strangely it corresponded with the update.

      Great, thanks for the tip! I searched all the SMS settings in vain, finally a manipulation that seems relevant! I'm waiting to receive my next SMS to make sure it works.

    Hello,

    You should check if the update hasn't installed an app like "Flashlight Call" which is specifically meant to turn on the flash when receiving a text message.

    Because this behavior is not a native one.

      To turn off the flash when you receive a message, you need to go to accessibility and then uncheck flash notifications.
