Hello, I have a small, annoying problem. When I’m on YouTube and I want to watch a video in fullscreen, it goes fullscreen but the YouTube screen is as small as the normal video. It's quite complex to explain in words and I’m not sure if you’ll understand me...
The screen (the size of the YouTube page without fullscreen) suddenly appears in the top left corner and the rest of my screen is black, as if the fullscreen had worked but the video hasn’t stretched across the whole screen. Additionally, if I click on the timeline at the top right, for example, it takes fullscreen into account, so it pauses the video. To use the timeline in fullscreen, I have to awkwardly search on the black screen as if the video had stretched. I don’t know if anyone understands the problem I’m having, I don’t know the exact terms to use here.
This problem only happens on YouTube and I would like to fix it, does anyone have a solution?
Configuration: Windows Vista / Chrome 26.0.1410.43

Hello!
Recently, I am facing the same issue, but I need to clarify the definitions. "fullscreen mode is not working" - this means that I have seen the video stretched to the browser window, but not in actual FULL SCREEN.
The reason this happened is that YouTube is experimenting with the new HTML5 player and setting it as the default VIDEO PLAYER!
In my humble opinion, it is less convenient, and many frames per second have dropped this way of watching videos in Full HD!
The solution is to go to this link: http://www.youtube.com/html5 and click on the blue button: Join the HTML5 Trial
