Hello, I hope someone can really help me.
About a month ago, I bought the EasyCap N DC60 converter.
I followed the connection instructions with the supplied CD.
Everything is okay, but when I want to start converting a VHS, the small screen stays black and there is no image (webcam yes), even though my VCR is running.
It is connected with a SCART cable, linked with the white, red, and yellow connectors.
The program is receiving the signal properly (PAL system).
I’m not very good with computers, so I hope the terms won't be too technical.
Thank you in advance for your valuable help!!!

Hello, it may just be the sense of the video flow in and out, an adapter is necessary

Analog video transfer box
Hello, to transfer content from an analog VHS, VHS-C, 8mm, Hi8 tape or an analog video stream, you need to connect the camcorder or VCR or another device to an "external box" that handles the "hardware" conversion of the analog stream to "digital," and you connect the box to the computer via a USB cable; the file is converted to MPEG2, a format easy to burn and compatible with all players, with the possibility of editing with "studio"
Connect the box and camcorder or VCR with a recommended S-VHS connection or composite (less good) (RCA yellow) and a cord for sound (2 RCA red, white). For the VCR, a SCART connection is needed with an adapter or cord with the "out" direction or with an in-out switch S-VHS output or composite RCA yellow (less good) plus sound, two RCA outputs red white
remember to select PAL for color
I recommend the Dazzle box either "recorder" DVD only or video HD, creator, see platinum depending on your needs if you want to "arrange" your movies with titles and music
the price of the advanced editing software STUDIO 14 HD (value alone €61) provided with this box in "creator" and "platinum" version makes the product interesting
it can be easily resold on the web when you no longer need it
there are exotic products like USB keys and 4 wires, cheaper but beware, they are often a source of troubles, reading messages from desperate members on the forum
with the format being 4/3, the image quality can only be judged on a living room TV screen the link:

remember to put "resolved" on your message if that's the case
