Inkscape transformer le blanc en transparent

Solved

Hello,

I am a beginner in using Inkscape (and vector graphics in general). My problem is that I have an image, which is vector-based, containing characters in a font that has outlines. For a "B," for example, I have the black outlines of the B and two white "holes." My problem is that I would like to turn these white holes into transparent holes, but Inkscape considers these "holes" as overlapping objects on my entirely black "B." Thus, by removing the holes or making them transparent, I simply end up with a big black "B" without an outline.
I hope you can help me, thank you in advance,

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 25.0.1364.172

Good evening
do you want to get rid of the two white "holes" in the B or what?

It was the second option, but since I hadn't written my B from that software, it caused something weird. But after a lot of patience (or stubbornness), I was able to fix my problem, thanks anyway!
