Hello,
I have a large Brother printer that is connected to a computer running Windows VISTA via USB. It has Wi-Fi connectivity.
I would like to connect it to another PC running Windows 7 via Wi-Fi. Is this possible, and if so, how?
On this second PC, there is another Canon printer connected via USB which I turn on when I need it, mainly for large-format photo prints.
My question: how can I get all of this to work together? How should I make the connections? What do I need to modify?
Thank you for your response
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 25.0.1364.152

Hello, Thank you for your response. The printer is connected to the Vista PC via USB. It needs to remain connected in USB mode on Vista and on Win 7 in Wi-Fi mode. Will that work well? Is there anything to do on the Vista PC? Should it stay in USB or switch to Wi-Fi as well? Thank you in advance.

There is nothing to do on the Vista PC, it's best to leave it connected via USB; however, you'll need to check if the "printer sharing" option is enabled in the firewall of both computers.
You have the step-by-step procedure on this Microsoft page. -
