Transfer files from a USB drive to a computer

Question

Hello, I have a USB drive that contains photos and I would like to transfer them to the photo gallery of my new computer
. If someone can tell me what I need to do to carry out this operation, I would be very grateful. A big thank you in advance.

Open the folder of your image gallery. Connect the USB drive to the computer. This will open the files on the USB drive. There, open the folder on your USB drive containing your images (if there is a folder), highlight your images (click and hold the left mouse button, drag the mouse, and release), then drag your images into your image gallery. And it should work normally.

Good evening,
With the mouse, you need to select the photos/videos that you want to put on your computer, then copy them. On your computer, create a new folder by right-clicking "new -> folder". Rename it, enter it, and then paste your photos. There you go =)

Thank you for taking an interest in my problem. I tried following your advice without success. The operating system of my PC is WINDOWS 7. I proceeded as follows: I plugged in my USB stick that contains the photos I want to transfer. In the "Start" menu, I clicked on "Computer" and then double-clicked on the icon representing the USB stick; the list of files appeared. I double-clicked on the file I was interested in, and the photo opened. I clicked on "Organize" and then on "Copy". Then I went back to the "Start" menu. I clicked on "Photo Gallery". The window opened and I clicked on "Paste" with no result. This method must not be right, and I would be grateful if you could help me. Thank you in advance.
