Pb connect DVD externe et TV

Hello,

Can you help me because I am a novice in new technologies.
I just bought my first LCD screen, a Samsung Series 6 40 inches.
And I want to watch DVDs from the TV USB port and the USB cable of my Samsung DVD WRITER SE-208.
But nothing happens; when I go to My Content, the TV does not find my external DVD player.

Can you help me?

    Ah, I thought it was just a regular drive.

    Previously, a drive would only connect to a PC that had the drivers and software to use it.

    It may be an incompatibility.
