Hello, I'm looking for a USB adapter for my camcorder to transfer my videos to my PC, I can't find it anywhere, not even at Panasonic. Thank you for your responses.

Hello, I think you might find what you're looking for on this page:

Hello, I'm commenting on this post to clarify that this camcorder must be connected via FireWire IEEE1394, it is not a USB input.

Good evening Glandu, in the link I gave to Boubas, there are FireWire (IEEE 1394) to USB cables, so from his camcorder in FireWire to his PC in USB.
--> http://www.sourcingmap.fr/usb-male-ieee-1394-broches-cable-firewire-p-27746.html
--> https://www.nierle.com/en/article/8126/Cable_IEEE_1394_FireWire_4-p._to_USB_1.8_m.html
Wouldn't it work with this kind of cables? -

Is FireWire mandatory on the PC? So the "cables & adapters" I suggest are useless?
I'm asking you these questions because it seems to me that an acquaintance connected their camcorder with this kind of cable to their PC, so FireWire on the camcorder and the other end USB to a USB port on the PC. I also seem to remember that this cable was provided, and if I'm not mistaken, it was a Sony.

Thank you for the information, however I don't understand one side has 4 branches for the camcorder, but the other end I only have USB and HDMI inputs on my Mac, so which one should I choose?

As explained above, neither one nor the other
MiniDV tape transfer
Transfer from MiniDV tape to laptop or desktop PC requires that the laptop or desktop has a firewire or ilink input (ieee1394 port), it’s the same thing, perform the transfer with a video editing software like Windows Live Movie Maker or iMovie (Mac) or commercial editing software, the computer detects the camcorder automatically for capture
An internal ieee1394 (firewire ilink, same thing) card is easily installed on a desktop PC
If it is a laptop without this input, a second solution - check if the laptop has a slot on the side “express card” (pcmcia) slot protected by a fake plastic card, there are firewire express card adapters:
http://www.amazon.fr/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=firewire+expresscard&tag=googhydr0a8-21&index=aps&hvadid=9215056378&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=101097741010537552&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&ref=pd_sl_6kh108ih4c_b
Third solution, as a last resort: you need to purchase an analog to USB converter box
This box or device handles the conversion "hardware from analog stream to digital" and you connect the box to the computer via a USB cable, the file is converted to mpeg2, an easy-to-burn format compatible with all players and allows for editing with "Studio"
Connect the box and camcorder with an S/VHS recommended link or composite (less good) (yellow RCA) and a cable for audio (2 red, white RCA) for the VCR you need a scart connection with an adapter or cable with the “out” direction or with an in/out switch output S/VHS or composite yellow RCA (less good) plus the sound, two RCA outputs red and white
I recommend the Dazzle box either “recorder” or “video creator, platinum” depending on your needs
The price of the software provided with this one makes the product interesting
There are cheaper products but be careful, it can lead to headaches
The quality of the image can only be judged on the TV screen once the film is burned

Okay, now I understand better why I couldn't find anything. Thank you for all the information, as I would have really struggled without it.
Thanks again, Boubas.
