Good evening,

I’m not very skilled in computer science and my computer has been notifying me since yesterday that there is an error code = 5, access denied...
I ran a system scan with Norton but without results; it still indicates the same thing! Moreover, my screen has turned bluish...

I don’t know what to do anymore,
Could you please help me???

Thank you in advance...
Configuration: Windows 2000 Firefox 2.0.0.1

The bluish screen, could it be that your screen cable is not properly connected?...

What was the message regarding the infection?
What is the title of the window that says 'error code = 5'?

I will go back and take notes to give you more details, but in any case, the cable is properly connected...
Thanks again,
See you later.

Here it is,

I start the computer. Everything is in place and the Norton window appears, telling me: Attention
1 item affects the status

I click on repair and Norton starts a system scan. It indicates: files being scanned: active programs and startup files, then after 683 files have been scanned (the scan does not go to completion), two windows appear simultaneously:
1 program error
NAVW32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
you will need to restart the program. An error log is
being created

2 fatal error Dr. Watson
Dr. Watson could not attach to the process. It is possible
that the process finished before Dr. Watson could
attach to it.
Windows 2000 returned error code = 5
access denied

There you go, for me all of this is incomprehensible but it's as precise as possible,...

A possible virus because I don’t know any file named "Doctor Watson" (Holmes' sidekick). Go to the Start menu, type: [file name] (in this case: Doctor Watson), select the folder and additional documents, delete. (You just did what an antivirus does on its own :))
