Code 43 : Nvidia graphics card Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,  I have a problem with my graphics card (Nvidia 6200), I have installed all the Nvidia drivers: -100.65_forceware_winvista_32bit_international_whql -163.69_forceware_winvista_32bit_international_whql -169.04_forceware_winvista_32bit_international_beta  It installs correctly, and once I restart, I get the error message: Windows has stopped this device because it has problems. (Code 43)  Here is my configuration: - Processor 1 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (Socket M2) - Operating System Windows Vista Business Edition (build 6000) - Motherboard Dell Inc 0CT103 A02 - Memory 2048 MB (2 sticks) - Radeon X1300 Series 256 MB  I actually want to add a second video card to connect my 3rd monitor. To all the big idiots who think they know everything and dare to say that their GPU is fried. Go hide because: I have the solution.
The problem comes from the driver that doesn't match your computer; I advise you to install the original driver for those who can.
Otherwise, do like me and start downloading ALL the Nvidia drivers and testing them to find the one that won't bring up the error (for example, for me, the 8800M GTX, only the 17XXXX drivers work, the others bring up error 43).
I repeat, stop trying to show off your knowledge all the time to say nonsense :)

Furthermore, another problem that some may encounter: you can disable your main GPU and switch to a secondary one using a key (example: M15X from Alienware), and thus the driver won't work either. Anyway, it's a very special case, don't wonder if you might have missed a hidden key on your computer after searching for hours :p (you know if your computer has a GFX up/down mode)

Same for me with an 8800GT 512MoDDR3
The graphics card is functioning well and displays everything on the screen.

The only downside is that it is not recognized by the operating system and that the OS startup happens with a jumble of white/blue pixels (over the Windows loading)

I have the same problem... I configured everything to use my PSP as a secondary screen (it works on XP) but under Vista I have exactly the same problems as Kenshiro... any response?

I'm facing the same problem, so if anyone has found a solution, please let me know or I'm going to crack.

With my NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, after installing 3D Vision, I entered Strow 2 and saw in 3D mode, but my screen was probably not compatible since I couldn't see in 3D with the 3D glasses during the game. My PC crashed, and I had to manually turn off my PC by pressing the power button. After I restarted my PC, there were white dots everywhere, then green squares and green lines. Well, welcome to my background, there are -_-_-_-_-_-_-_- everywhere, but not very visible since they're kind of transparent. So I decided to uninstall my graphics card driver, restart, etc. I reinstalled my old driver, and it's still the same problem: code 43 in my Windows Device Manager indicates that Windows has stopped this device because it has problems. (Code 43) AAAH I've tried everything, it's been 72 hours without sleep that I've been working on this, please help me!!!! And by the way, I've tried everything like safe mode and all existing driver versions of the card, etc. There is an error in the video memory; I saw it when testing my drivers by booting from the driver CD! Video memory error code 5300: 0119.

Code 43 = card fried DSL I changed my card and it's working I tested my faulty card on 3 different PCs and the same problem always occurs so my card is fried have a good day

Yeah, that's it, the graphics card is fried. I have the same problem with mine except it's still under warranty and that's what the guy told me over there, that my card is fried and the only solution is to change it.

I have the same problem with my gts8800 512, I formatted the PC, installed the drivers from NVIDIA and it gives me an error message on the GPU, basically don't bother looking, your graphics card has burned out.

Hello everyone, I had the same problem as you, namely "code 43 CG stopped," and here is my solution:

Go to: Control Panel / Hardware and Sound / Devices and Printers / go to your computer (for me, "Jean Philippe") / Properties / look for your graphics card(s) and choose "Install previous driver."

For me, it's working fine, and contrary to what some say, no, my two GTX 550 Ti are not burnt out.

Error code 43 NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 9800 on Vista. Driver disabled
Well, I just figured it out after a week of various manipulations.
It all started about two weeks ago with punctuation characters ';', '.' (I think they call them artifacts) on the screen at boot before the Windows logon.
But after that, the resolution was normal and there were no particular issues afterward (maybe a warning about a driver error).
Until last week, when the logon screen appeared in a weird resolution. Huge Windows logo and rough definition. Once logged in, the same thing, crappy definition, only one-third of the screen visible.
So in the control panel, device manager, I had the error on the driver of my graphics card, disabled because it detected an error.
I went on the forums, some gurus strongly asserting that it's a software problem (memory conflict) and not hardware, I downloaded I don't know how many drivers that I tested one after the other without success. I even flashed my PC's BIOS. In short, a few evenings and a weekend later, I took my card under my arm and went to Rue Mongalet (computer district of Paris)
The seller was nice and plugged my card into his PC.
Result: exactly the same behavior as on mine. Card is dead. Period.
I bought a new card. It works, I’m happy.
First thing to do: test your card on another PC. If it's dead, you'll save time.

I just had this problem today:
on GF8800 GTX
Win7 64bit

It took an hour to solve:

1: Boot into safe mode, uninstall all drivers and related files for Nvidia.

2: Disable automatic driver reinstall.

3: Reboot in normal mode

4: www.nvidia.com

5: Drivers, select the beta drivers, and install an older version like 2009 or 2010

Restart and you're good to go
