Hello everyone,
I recently broke the hard drive of my laptop (an Asus Eee PC) on which I had recently installed a license for Microsoft Office 2010.
Now I have a new computer (also an Asus) with Windows 8.
I would like to know if it is possible to recover the license from my old computer, knowing that it no longer starts, in order to install it on my new computer. And how to proceed.
Thank you in advance
Have a good evening everyone!

Hello,
I would be more restrictive than Mike.
If you bought a retail license (in-store or online), you can reuse the license.
If you can't uninstall it from the old computer, you need to contact Microsoft to have the old license deactivated so you can reuse it.
If you had a trial version that came with the computer you activated, it is an OEM version linked to the device and is not transferable.

You will never respond to an unsolicited PM...
Well, that's done.
