Hello,
I have been trying to activate my B&You prepaid card on my Sony Ericsson W595s for several weeks now. The message 'insert correct card' always appears. After reading various forums, I've tried everything but nothing works. When I go to Network, I'm asked for an NCK code, which some forum says is on the card I detached from the SIM card. But either it is too short or I'm told 'forbidden'. The Orange support site is always inaccessible, conveniently. The phone previously had an Orange prepaid card and before that an Orange plan. Can someone who uses simple explanations (and not the coded language of the pros!) help me? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows 8 / Chrome 24.0.1312.52

The NCK code is not in your possession (neither on the SIM card, nor on what surrounds the SIM card, nor elsewhere).
This code is held by the operator who sold you the phone. Contact that operator, and they will give you this unlocking code for free if the phone is more than 3 months old.
Do not attempt to enter anything random (like the PUK code which is too short) in the NCK code slot on your phone, because after 10 incorrect attempts, the phone will lock and the operator will no longer be able to help you (you will have to send the phone to the manufacturer).

It's like me; I've been trying in vain to unlock my phone for 48 hours. After getting another explanation from Bouygues, I entered my new Orange SIM card, typed in my code, and then entered the unlock number, and I'm still at the same point. It's unacceptable to spend so much time and energy, since we're either dealing with incompetence or it's intentional to force us to buy another phone (consumption, consumption!!!) Unacceptable, what kind of world are we living in, what future for our children...

Thank you, that helps me a lot... but I wonder how I can contact the operator if I'm not in the country?
