Hard drive formatted by TV and not recognized by PC

Hello,

I received a 750GB Toshiba external hard drive. During its first use, it worked perfectly on my PC (Sony Vaio series F). Since my TV has the "program recorder" function, I decided to connect my hard drive to it (Sony Bravia series KLD.....).
The TV recognized the hard drive but asked me to format it so that it could be used for the recording function. So I did this operation (directly on the TV).
And surprise, when I reconnect my hard drive to my PC, it is recognized but inaccessible. Let me explain more precisely to make it easier for you :D
When I go to "Computer," the hard drive no longer appears, so I can't store movies or anything else...
If I right-click on "Computer" and go to "Manage," I arrive in "Computer Management," then in the "Device Manager" section, the hard drive appears under "Disk Drives" with the name: TOSHIBA external USB 3.0 USB device.
When I right-click on it, the following options appear: - Update Driver (they are up to date)
- Disable
- Uninstall
- Scan for hardware changes
- Properties

So that's the situation. To summarize, I can no longer access the hard drive to store anything, even though it is recognized by the PC, the hard drive works, and the light is on. I should note that I have no idea how the TV formatted the hard drive. I'm not an IT expert.

How can I access it again and store documents, please?

Thank you in advance for your responses and help.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello Rag and thank you for this information, but since I have Windows 7, I can't find a program called "computer management"....

in fact, it's a formatting with a LINUX partition that Windows is unable to recognize...
