I have 3 options when inserting the CD
    1) run
a window opens saying "Authorware / Unable to execute due to shell error.5"
2)Adobe Acrobat 4.05c: message "unable to update the registry
clicking next I see that a program is loading but at 90%
    unable to continue
    3) QuickTime 3
unable to execute program due to software incompatibility with my
    Windows 64 BIT
In the end, I have a window saying "WinExec failed: return = 216"

    Hello,
You can also try installing it by changing the compatibility mode: https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/26404-changer-le-mode-de-compatibilite-des-logiciels

Basically, if there's an install.exe, right-click and set the compatibility to Win 98 or 2000 + run as administrator.

    Hello

Let's be precise.. What do these CDs contain? Data? Programs (games, etc.).

Do you have an error message?
    Is it a self-executable?
What happens when you right-click on the CD drive icon and select the "Explore" option?

    That's what I thought, incompatible.

Can you still explore the CD?

Not too much!! That is to say, I was able to make photocopies of the scores,
I hear part of the music that accompanies the video but I don't see this video, and then I don't have access to the "theory" part.

When I put the CD in, I see its cover with the options:
    install
    adobe reader
    quicktime
    quit

    I have QuickTime version 4.0
and on the CD, if you have version QuickTime 3.0 or earlier, you need to uninstall.
    I haven't done anything since I have version 4.0
then I clicked "next," but it doesn't proceed!!!

This CD-ROM was created in 2000 and is readable with Windows 95, Windows 98, NT, or 2000.

    Is there any hope???
    THANK YOU!

Thank you very much Choubaka for your quick responses!

Question: does installing a virtual machine with Windows 2000 mean that I need to download the Windows 2000 program onto my Windows 7 computer so that, through this download, Windows 2000 can read my CD-ROMs?
Is there any risk to the programs on my Windows 7 computer?
I have a WiFi configuration for the internet: will this not conflict or be "disturbed" by this download?

Can I find and download this Windows 2000 for free on the internet?
    Thank you again.

no, it's not free even if it's old.. but it's possible to find it with the key everywhere.

to use a virtual machine, you need to use software like VMWare in its free version.

      Good evening Choubaka,
I kept my old Windows XP computer and found the Microsoft Windows 95 CD + Microsoft Office 97.
      Question:
Instead of installing a downloaded virtual machine with VMWare software,
wouldn't it be simpler to use the old Win 95 CD (+ possibly Microsoft Office 97) on my current Windows 7 computer?
Do I still need to install VMWare software before using my old Win 95 CD?
Another option: "clean" (with a recovery DVD-ROM) my old XP computer and then download Win 95 on it?
If there are no compatibility issues, I would prefer the first option on Win 7 since my old computer has a somewhat "shaky" sound.
      THANK YOU for your response

Hello; there is ReactOS which is free, legal & free of charge; to test if it doesn't crash like often.
      Download - ReactOS Website: http://www.reactos.org/en/download.html
To be used in a virtual machine or on an empty PC with nothing on it.
