Epson XP-247 Printer Wi-Fi Connection Solved

Thank you for reading this long message, I really need help.

I bought an Epson XP-247 printer three days ago.

I can’t connect my computer to the printer; I thought it was a connection issue, so I tried changing my computer's connection (putting it on another Wi-Fi) but it made no difference. I thought maybe my computer had a problem, so I downloaded the app on my phone, but my phone also can't find the printer (I'm following the instructions in the manual (which I have read and re-read) by pressing the Wi-Fi logo for about 3 seconds.) But no matter what I do, in the end, my printer blinks red after a few minutes (the right light). So it's definitely my printer that is malfunctioning.

You should know that the day I bought it, when I got home, I was able to connect it to my computer and make two prints, but since then, nothing. I may have made a wrong maneuver when I tried to scan something; I don't understand the manual very well, so I might not have pressed the right buttons.

I've tried to reset my printer, but I don’t understand what the manual says (I don’t understand the words, I know nothing about this field).

I hope you will have a solution; feel free to ask me for more information. Thank you very much for your upcoming help, which I really need. I am a student, and I need to print my notes quickly.

4G ==> Your phone (Wifi) => Mobile (Wifi) => Printer (Wifi)

Doesn't that shock you?

Your mobile has only one wifi card, it cannot connect via wifi to both the smartphone and the printer! It's either one or the other, not both at the same time!

Connect to the same Wi-Fi as the printer.
Have you already configured the printer's IP in the Epson manager?
If not:
----On Windows: Search for "Command Prompt" in the start menu.
-Type IPCONFIG and press "Enter"
-Retrieve the IPv4 address
-Paste it into your web browser.

I found the solution to your problem!
I have an Epson XP247 printer
Go to the manufacturer’s website http://epson.sn
-Follow the product installation instructions
Then configure the Wi-Fi connection
It will ask you to press the Wi-Fi button on your printer for 3 seconds,
Once the light is blinking
Go to your box and press the WPS button
Wait for the synchronization of the printer with your network
Then on your router, you will see the message (Printer XP247 is connected to the network)
Then on your computer, you will receive a notification of a new incoming network
Once you accept it, go back to the browser and complete your installation with a test of the Wi-Fi printer and you're all set
