Hello, I bought an Epson Expression Home XP-225 that I installed on my computer with a USB cable, everything works fine with no issues on that side.
Now I want to configure the Wi-Fi mode to be able to print from a laptop, so I am following the Epson procedure that says to open the "Epson Connect Printer Setup" software on PC. The software then searches for the printer, but the problem is it never finds it. I also tried the same thing with the app on iPod Touch 4, Epson iPrint, which is also searching for the printer but has the same issue; it says it cannot find a printer.
If anyone has a solution, thanks in advance.

Hello,
I found the solution!
The initial Wi-Fi setup of the printer went smoothly. Afterwards, I changed the network password and of course the printer no longer worked via Wi-Fi.
On the Epson XP-225 printer, you need to press the "wi-fi" button for 3 seconds to perform an automatic setup. Unfortunately, in my case, the setup failed every time.
I solved the problem using the installation CD:
You need to start the CD and uncheck the option to install the latest version (you don't want to reinstall the driver) and only keep "check product status."
On the next screen, you need to validate: "change connection method."
Then you have to choose the Wi-Fi connection and start the setup.
The software asks you to power on the printer and then press the "wi-fi" button for 3 seconds.
That’s where it crashed! Darn it...
After a few minutes, the window changes and tells you that the Wi-Fi connection has failed (thanks, but I already knew that!)
At this point, you can click next to perform a Wi-Fi setup via USB.
You need to plug in the USB cable, but in my case, the printer is not recognized. Urgh?!
The trick: turn it off and on! Miracle, the printer is finally detected and the software is ready to do the setup via USB cable.
It takes a few more seconds for the computer and printer to communicate and finally, the Wi-Fi starts.
Hallelujah!!!! Finally!
