Hello,

What to do when you've unsubscribed from this site, but they haven't removed you?

I wanted to give it a try after watching several comparisons... Sure, the site is well designed, BUT you can't do anything unless you subscribe!! You can't see the messages that are sent to you, nor chat even though they ask you to allow other users for chatting, and the worst part is that there is no way to inform a subscriber (who is trying to send you messages) that you can't read anything!!! You can't respond, nothing... it’s very frustrating, I can't even imagine what the other person is going through while desperately trying to get in touch... Anyway! Seeing this, I quickly unsubscribed to avoid participating in this farce, but after two emails from Zoosk confirming that my account is indeed deactivated, I still remain in their database... The person I would have liked to get to know is desperately trying to send me messages... without knowing that I can’t see or do anything... Obviously, it’s impossible to contact Zoosk (they don’t respond to emails), so what can be done to stop this abuse?
Thanks for sharing your experience and solutions!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 16.0

Hello,

I don't think you understood the purpose of my message. Why do they keep my profile even though I've unsubscribed?
Then, misleading advertising regarding the possibility of contacting other members when you register for free; why not just say it directly?
The frustration comes more from being caught off guard by this site; I would have paid (if it weren't so expensive!) and if I were sure there wasn't a scam... which I doubt (see other forums on Zoosk) because many people continue to be charged even though they have canceled...

Well... I wanted to show good will (and a desire to establish contact with this person anyway) and... I subscribed...
I go to read the messages I didn't have access to before, and the person's profile no longer exists... FML

I’m waiting for the end of my supposedly automatic one-month subscription to finish at the end of the period, we’ll see..... anyway, I think the big scam is that there are no free sites (or else you only get blurry photos and “automatic” responses).

Absolutely agree, the other sites might also be scams.

Hello

Free stuff is great...

But the site needs to be sustained...

Either through advertising
Or by subscribing

If it's so frustrating for you...subscribe to contact this person....

I don't understand why you don't accept Maestro bank cards.

This site is a scam, just there to take our money. I signed up to meet someone and buy credits, but I never got in touch with these members.
