Hello everyone ^^
Well, here it is, I've read quite a few messages posted on your forum and apparently there are always very personalized responses, so I'm posting here.
The issue: when I launch wow and play, after a while the game lags quite a bit. I then press ctrl+alt+del to check the usage frequency, and I'm maxed out at 100%. When I close the game, it goes back to normal.
Hardware:
-M2N-E motherboard
-Nvidia 7600 GT
-Windows XP SP1
-Avast: I regularly receive alert messages about win32 folders but I think it's fine.
Other issues (just in case you find a solution):
- after a while on the computer (10min), the "start" bar gets stuck, impossible to manage the programs, I have to juggle with alt+tab. But this problem passes eventually, I can manage
I hope I've been thorough. Thanks in advance

Hi
Your PC is probably not powerful enough to run the game under proper conditions ;-)

Question / answers : ^^
On the hardware side: How much RAM do you have?
512 MB (or more) --> ok
Is your graphics card powerful enough? --> ok
What processor do you have?
Is your central unit well-ventilated?
On the software side:
- Install Windows XP Service Pack 2
- If you still have to use alt + tab, try repairing the system. -
I have the same problem as you, with a slight whistling coming apparently from the 7600GT when it lags.
If anyone has a solution, I'm interested
