Hello,
I have something that's been troubling me since I installed the internet. I'm on XP.
From time to time, when I surf the web, no matter which site I'm on, my computer makes a ding dong sound, as if someone else is trying to access one of my files and it's being denied. Or as if you pressed a key and the computer is refusing it.
I have already checked my computer with my antivirus several times; I do it every week (Nod32 + Ad-aware).
I'm wondering if it's someone trying to break into my computer and steal files or something.
If anyone has this kind of problem or if anyone can help, I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.11

It's completely normal; to stop hearing those ding dongs, you need to disable Windows sounds.

Click on: Start / Control Panel / Sounds and Audio Devices / Sound tab
From there, each Windows event can generate a different and customizable sound...............
    Good luck
