My screen is flashing for no reason...

Good evening,

I have had my Asus laptop for almost 3 years now. The first year was under warranty when I had a problem: suddenly (more and more recently) the screen turns white and flashes, but the sound and everything else are still there (if I'm playing a game, the game continues, and the sound is on without the image).

I sent it for repair twice. This year it has happened again twice, but I am trying to find a solution to avoid this problem. Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
have you checked the temperatures? That could be a heating issue:

Thank you, I think you are right because now it turns off instead of flashing. I will probably buy a fan.

      You're welcome,
a cooling pad is great and remember to vacuum the vents from time to time.
My laptop shuts down due to overheating during games and having a cooling pad allows me to play without any issues.
      Good luck
