Hello,

My basic project is to create a motherboard with the possibility of adding 2 AMD 3+ processors for an AMD FX 8-core processor to achieve better performance for a desktop computer. There would also be 16 DDR3 channels that could support up to 128 GB max of RAM. It also supports 2 PCI 3.0 x16 slots, and there will be the possibility to add cache memory to each processor.

From a pricing perspective, a server motherboard costs around 500 euros, and the processors themselves are also expensive. Windows Vista and 7 recognize that there are 2 processors.

This product will be sold cheaper than server motherboards and will be about 40% more expensive to manufacture.

What do you think?

Best regards, Italium.

Configuration: Windows 8

    Hello
I don’t know what your knowledge of computers is!
But to achieve this, see image, you need to be a computer engineer, and even then! It’s no small feat to create such a card.

    Nothing at all.

A business PC doesn’t need 128 GB of memory, nor does it need 16 cores.

A motherboard at 500 euros is already a good price if it does just that, but indeed it’s a server motherboard.

No use, moreover there are already motherboards for AMD but with different sockets.

After all, it remains a beautiful dream...
