Issue with uppercase or lowercase on ASUS U79K keyboard

Hello,

I have successfully installed my new ASUS Essentio series tower, of which I am very happy. I have a problem concerning my wireless keyboard U79K because I never know if I'm in lowercase or uppercase, which is very annoying especially when I need to type a username or password, which is visible as dots.
You can see a small piece of transparent plastic on the right edge of the keyboard; maybe there's an LED inside? Could someone shed some light on this? Or how can I tell when I'm typing in uppercase or lowercase?
Thank you.

    Hello,

What a misunderstanding!!! I just got an Asus PC with a UK79 wireless keyboard, and I don't see any indicator for the Caps Lock, nor any sign appearing on the screen when I press it.

    I also can't find a sleep key.

There must be a way to do this, as I can't believe these functions wouldn't be included in a keyboard.

Or maybe Asus is taking its customers for fools.

Thank you to anyone who can provide me with a solution.

      Hello,

After extensive research, I concluded that to cut costs, ASUS provides a very low-end keyboard. I even opened the keyboard to ensure there were no loose connections!
Unfortunately, after reassembly, the numeric keypad stopped working altogether.
After some research on forums, I treated myself to a wired Logitech keyboard with backlit keys, and it’s amazing!
Thank you, ASUS; it would have been better not to provide a keyboard at all as it would have spared me the hassle, to say the least, with a keyboard unworthy of the quad-core system I bought. I hear it’s a 5-core, I don’t know anything about electronics, but when it comes to being messed around, I was certainly served!
I would have preferred to pay a few more euros and be well served from A to Z!

Thank you for your opinion, which I totally agree with. I'm reduced to using my old wired keyboard.
Despite my position as a minor player, I will still contact my seller, as I believe they are obligated to provide functional equipment.
I note your opinion on the Logitech, and I wish you a good end of the year.

I agree with that. I have a wireless Logitech keyboard from my previous PC, but with Asus it becomes very slow. I'm going to bother the seller about this unacceptable problem.
