How to print in 16x16 on a HP C5380

Hello,

I want to print invitation cards in 16x16 size, which can be found easily in stores, and my stupid printer won't accept it.
Please let me know if anyone has successfully done this with this type of printer.

    Hello,
    Have you tried creating a custom size 160mmx160mm in the printer properties?
    For a HP 4400:
    Properties >> Features tab >> Resizing Options >> Custom size.

    Yes, I have already resized it, but when I start the printing, the printer starts and then shows the error message "incorrect paper" even though the file has been resized and the paper is correctly placed in the printer.
    Anyway, it’s a hassle.
    Moreover, I called HP and they are naturally super conscientious and really not nice, basically it's up to you to figure it out and heaven will help you. After everything I’ve read about this printer and their great support service, I think this will be the last HP I buy.

      Be careful to select the right type of paper: plain, photo, etc...

    Have you tried putting your 16x16 transfer on an A4 sheet?

      I will try again at work with a professional printer, and otherwise I will consider this solution, but it’s a bit constraining if you have a lot to print.

    The idea of rd_9 is excellent...

    Unless you find pre-cut invitations in A4 format, you can print and then cut them out

    Or paste the invitation onto an A4 page and feed it directly due to the thickness...

    To help you keep track, draw a line on your A4 sheet so you can always paste your invitation in the same place, and secure it with "removable" adhesive (Scotch brand "blue box") perpendicular to the feed direction so that the edge of the invitation does not get stuck in the feed rollers of your printer.
