ZICPLAY VMAX problem in the MP3 folder

Hello,
we just bought a ZICPLAY VMAX 1GB MP3 player. When we are in the MP3 Menu, we cannot change folder without scrolling through the songs one by one. when we listen to a track and display the menu containing all the MP3 folders, how do we select the folder where the song of our choice is? We automatically return to the first song in the list.
Is this an error of the device???
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 419.3

    I have the same problem: please tell me if you found a solution. Furthermore, I cannot download the software that would allow me to import music (CD) stored on my computer to my MP3 - a small clarification: I have an Apple, which causes a problem!!!

    I own a Zicplay Vmax 1Go and I have the same problem with poor management of folders containing MP3s.
    I suspect a firmware issue. Has anyone (or any one) had experience installing a new firmware on this device?
    My firmware:
    2005/03/15
    3.5.37
    2006/04/25
    ACTS16D_37_SZG

    I had the same problems; the solution is to structure from the PC the player as follows:

    Artist 1 / title1.MP3, title 2.MP3
    Artist 2 / title 1.mp3, title2.MP3

    etc...

    and it works

    IF you still have issues, write to me.

      Although structuring my folders as you indicated, it doesn’t work.
      I have to scroll through the songs one by one...
      In the manual, it says that by pressing mode then going into the folders then using the volume+/volume- buttons, you can switch from one folder to another, but it doesn’t work at all...

      For the moment, I don’t understand why it doesn’t work because it’s a basic option on any mp3 player

        there is a solution...because it works for me.

        So, when you listen to a song you press pause
        mode appears local folder
        you press mode
        with the buttons above mode (fast forward/rewind, plus button or vol-) you browse through the folders and you choose.

        Try that and tell me if it works this month

        Actually it works now, I misinterpreted your tip!
        Now that I removed the album layer, it works without any issue !!

        Moreover, this album layer was even causing navigation problems for photos !! because of the integrated album jacket image !!

        I am quite disappointed with the VMAX, even my mobile phone has a much more developed interface for the built-in mp3 player !!

        Anyway, thank you very much for your help. This tip, though simple, is not at all easy to find !!

        Anyway... you’ll quickly switch MP3 players, because with 1 GB you’re limited fast. I was given one as a gift... but I think I’ll go buy another; I recently gave a Creative Zen 4GB as a gift... and that’s MP3, with a real interface and especially a browser...

    Hello,

    I was also given a zicplay Vmax Evo 2Gb and I must admit it’s a nightmare! I don’t doubt its storage capacity, but it has to be pleasant to use as well.
    Not to mention that it’s hard to use and the options are null, I am also condemned to listen to the same songs every morning, scrolling through them one by one, and it’s slow.
    I pressed the Mode button and I finally saw that, given the SIZE OF THE SCREEN (!!), I could have several songs on screen.
    I checked the price on the web and I am indeed embarrassed for the person who gave it to me.
    If you know where the following options are please tell me: reduce the delay to go from one song to another, random playback mode, restart the device, and have the last played song.

    Hello I have a big problem with a ZIC Play VMAX 512 MB. When I start listening to song number 9 for example, after it finishes or when I change songs, it doesn't go to the next one; it goes to something like #35 instead...

    I just bought a ZIC Play Vmax 512 FM and I don’t understand how to put music, images or anything else on it. I’ve installed everything, but I don’t quite understand their transfer software.

    I just got the MP3 Zic Play Vmax and I can’t add any songs; when I click, it says “Access denied.”

    Hello!!!!!

    I have a problem with my ZicPlay V Max 521MB: when I put a song, my MP3 changes it every 10 seconds. For example, I start a song at 6 seconds and my MP3 changes the song by itself exactly at 16 seconds. The change song button isn’t stuck internally, I checked. Could you tell me what the problem is please, thank you.
