Hello everyone,

Following the malfunction of my HP3050 Wifi printer (which no longer connected to the network), I replaced it with its successor: HP3070 Wifi.
Of course, I uninstalled the 3050 driver and installed its counterpart, HP3070.
When I try to print a PDF document via Acrobat Reader X V10.1.3, only the HP3050 printer is available. The new one does not appear in the list. However, it appears in Internet Explorer.
I uninstalled HP3070, reinstalled HP3050, uninstalled HP3050, reinstalled HP3070: no change.
Then, I uninstalled Acrobat Reader and reinstalled it. Nothing works.
Uninstalling all HP printer drivers still shows HP3050 in Acrobat Reader.
Any idea on how I can make HP3050 disappear and finally have HP3070 appear in Acrobat Reader?

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 9.0

    Good evening,

Try uninstalling it with --> Revo Uninstaller

After installation, run it as an administrator and uninstall the printer.

Then run --> CCleaner for a cleanup in Windows, applications and registry. For using CCleaner, check this --> tutorial

    Good evening Kaneagle,
Thank you for your prompt response.
I tested according to your recommendations and it still poses a problem.
I tried installing version 9.5.0 of Adobe Reader X.
The old printer had indeed disappeared from the printing menu in favor of the new one, but when I tried to print, the program indicated that I needed to select a printer first. No matter how much I tried to set it as default (which was already the case) and select it within the program: it didn’t work. So I uninstalled/reinstalled the printer driver: no change.
Uninstalling V9.5.0 and installing V10.1.3 --> same situation as before (only the old printer available) even though Revo-uninstaller had removed all the keys.
In the end, I got fed up and uninstalled Adobe Reader X to install PDF Xchange Viewer which works very well.
So the problem really comes from the Adobe software that seems to leave an old key lying around somewhere.
I've read various topics from people experiencing similar problems with Adobe Reader and for whom there seemed to be no concrete solution.
    Bug from Adobe?

    Good night everyone :o)
