To try using Wi-Fi, both the phone and the printer need to be connected to a box or a Wi-Fi access point, which is not your case.

For your tests with Wi-Fi Direct, stand next to the printer.

I print from mine, with my phone, being about 1 meter away.

In any case, you need to be next to it to retrieve the printed sheet.

Let me rephrase my question: is it the same printer name as in my screenshot to which you are trying to connect your phone?

P.S.: It’s the phone that connects to the printer, not the other way around.

I just tried it and it says = no internet connection
The printer light keeps flashing all the time
And it also says = this printer is not currently available

She was walking in Wifi-direct with your phone (your phone not being connected via Wifi to the store's box) at the store and not at home?
