Mixed messages upon reception

Hello,

I haven't found an answer to my problem, so I'm coming to ask the question... I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace (for a year now) running Android, and my carrier is Bouygues, and I have a big SMS issue...

Several days ago, I sent an SMS to a friend, and upon re-reading it, I noticed that an SMS I had sent the day before to another recipient was stuck at the end of the SMS (without me doing anything). And of course, my friend received the complete message, meaning what was intended for him and what wasn't. But don't worry, there was nothing confidential, fortunately.

Yesterday, I had a discussion with my partner via SMS... But the fact is that old SMS (days old) got mixed in with some of the SMS I sent him (yesterday, that is), but only upon receipt. That is, on my phone, the SMS were perfectly "normal," containing only what I had just written, but on his phone, they received the mixed message along with older ones. This isn't too bothersome either...

And sometimes, my SMS looks perfectly readable when I send it, but upon receipt, it looks like nothing... A "hi, how's it going?" becomes "sljfut, comhebt ça ba?"... It's funny but not very practical when you use SMS for work ^^.

This hasn't been too problematic yet, but it could become so if it continues. So I sent SMS to my father earlier, and not having received a reply, I'm afraid he received the SMS I exchanged with my partner yesterday (yes, some shouldn't be read by a father ^^), and this without my phone notifying me (it's like a mix of the first and second case, actually).

What should I do in your opinion? Is there a solution? Knowing that I've read that when this happens (in the second case), even deleting the conversation threads can still lead to the issue persisting. Is there an app to download to fix this bug? Or should I go see my carrier? In your opinion, is the problem with the phone or the carrier?

And do you think I should stop sending SMS until I find the answer, or should I take my chances, lol? Anyway, I hope you can give me a little help; I no longer dare to send SMS now, neither to family nor clients; well friends are okay since I don't have much to hide.

Thank you in advance for your replies!!

I have the same problem.
In fact, it comes from a known bug with a time shift of up to more than 10 minutes when you're synced to a time server.
If you switch the time to manual mode, this mixed-up issue disappears for new messages.
