Toshiba Satellite WiFi Issues

Hello,
This is the first time I'm posting here, but after not finding any solution to my problem, I've finally decided to reach out.
So, a few hours ago, I was calmly surfing the internet on WiFi, I lent my PC to my brother, and when I got it back and returned to my session, I can no longer detect any wireless connections: "not connected - connections are available." Normally, when I click on the icon, I see all the available connections, from my neighbors, my box, Free Wifi, etc... But now, nothing, just "Remote access and VPN" with a connection showing my name and an icon that looks like a Fax or something.
Since I'm not very knowledgeable about this, I plugged in an Ethernet cable to try to find a solution online, but no luck. I've already tried to download and install the drivers, go to the device manager, right-click, enable, update, etc... After that, I admit I'm pretty "bad" at computing, so maybe I didn't do it right... I'm therefore calling on your expertise, hoping to find a solution.
My PC is a Toshiba Satellite C670 - 1DL / PCS3QE
Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, I just received a Toshiba C670/C670D as a gift and I can't activate the Wi-Fi; Same issue described above, help!
Thanks to those who can respond!-
Hey, I don't know if your problem is solved, but I had the same issue as you and my dad fiddled a bit with my computer. I'm still going to pass on my solution!
Control Panel -> View network status and tasks -> on the top left, there's "Change adapter settings" -> if the wifi icon is gray, double-click on it. And normally, you just need to connect your computer to your network as you usually do.
Hoping this helps you! xx
