Hello,

I cannot detect wireless networks, nor can I enable Wi-Fi via the button located at the top of the keyboard of my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L1310G laptop.

I have reinstalled the driver for the Atheros AR5005G Wireless Network
I have pressed Fn+F2
I have tried everything but to no avail

Thank you for helping me as I am in a place where I can only connect my laptop via Wi-Fi, which works perfectly on other machines.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    Hi
are you sure it's the F2 key?
Personally, I have an Amilo, and the combination is Fn + F10 (a small antenna).
Make sure the wireless configuration is set to automatic and that the service is running. This is necessary for Windows to configure your connection afterwards.
To do this, go to: "start""run" type "services.msc" and hit OK
You look for the line Wireless Configuration, and next to this line, you should have what I mentioned earlier. If not, you activate it.

I don't have "wireless configuration," only "configuration for a wired network with an Ethernet port"...

In order to automatically connect to wifi when starting up your Amilo (so you won't need the stupid wifi activation trick at every startup), you need to update your BIOS.

For the issues concerning the amilo, I had a problem because when trying to activate the Wi-Fi combination, it didn't work. So, I downloaded the launch manager from the official Fujitsu Siemens site, then I installed it on my computer. First, it uninstalled it, then I started over and installed it again, and now I have no more problems; it was due to certain automatic updates.
Otherwise, I have a new problem since my connection to the Livebox via Wi-Fi is no longer working suddenly, so if you could help me, thanks.

      It's easy to download this driver WN6600R 13ch. miniCard WLAN IEEE802.11 b/g/"Draft n"
you can find it on this site http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/com/support/downloads.html
after installation you will see an icon on the right of the bar like an antenna right-click and launch config utility click and you will see on the right radio on / off another click to turn it on
      and that's it
heh heh heh it's easy my friend

I don't get it, you say it works for another position. Which position?
And then you talk about keys that have a problem.
If the Wi-Fi activation keys don't work on your machine, you can't connect.

Go to the download site https://www.fujitsu-siemens.fr and download the latest

    Power Manager silent mode/RF

that is compatible with your Amilo model

It’s very quick and it worked for me

    Good luck

Hello, I downloaded the latest WLAN driver for my Wi-Fi on my Fujitsu PC, but nothing works. Can you help me? I'm completely lost. No solution
If someone could tell me what to do. Moreover, I activated it using Fn F2 and even tried Fn F10 as indicated above? There you go.

You just need to put the drivers CD in. There's a software called FCL Launch or something like that that makes it work, lol. Good luck! Just do the update automatically and it'll be fine, yes!

The problem is that when I download the software from the Fujitsu site, my computer only wants to open them with Windows Explorer. Let's just say it doesn't work at all. Could you please tell me how to fix this? Thank you.

    Hi,

I know where your problem is coming from. It's at the level of the OS, use XP instead of Vista and reinstall your Wi-Fi card with its installation CD.

P.S.: If you've lost the installation CD, go to the official Fujitsu-Siemens website to download the necessary drivers for your Wi-Fi card.

You'll need the serial number of your laptop, e.g. Amilo 1310G.

For my part, it recognizes all the networks but only connects when it feels like it... sometimes, I see the connections and can't access them...

It cracks me up, "Why do things that work properly, when you can do complicated things?"

On the other hand, when it decides to connect, it's perfect...

Hi, did you manage to find the problem with your Wi-Fi connection? Because I have the same issue and I don't know what to do!!! Sometimes it finds the networks, sometimes it doesn't, and it connects and then disconnects whenever it wants, but way too often. Can you help me?

Thank you for your response, dear, but over time I actually managed to get it working; I just needed to restart the router (the livebox). Thanks anyway.

    Hello,

I can't seem to detect any networks to connect to, actually it's a public wifi

I tried Fn F10 but that doesn't work either.

Me too, it worked very well and since I did a disk cleanup where I deleted a lot of programs (software), the Fn F1 key to activate the Wi-Fi no longer works!! ;(

Yes, it works for another position, the one I'm connected to. By the way, on the PC, there are two keys that aren't working properly; I think it's the Wi-Fi key and the Bluetooth key, but they worked fine before. Next to them are the keys for starting the PC and for the internet.

Hi, I also had the same problem, it didn't detect any network
it really pissed me off, then by chance I went to the properties of the
Wi-Fi card, then to configure, then to the advanced tab, and I changed the
ad hoc channel number 802.11b/g, and it immediately found my Livebox
I hope this can help you....

J'ai un Amilo M7440G, je l'ai formaté, ça marche, mais j'ai un problème : la diode de Wi-Fi ne s'allume pas et le pilote de Wi-Fi est installé. Que faire ?
