Hello,
I subscribed to rapidgator for 1 month, the problem is that when this month ended, the subscription was automatically renewed, but I would like to unsubscribe and I can't find how to do it. Could you help me?

Hi, I have the same problem. I sent an email to customer service but still haven't received a response. However, what you can do is cancel the automatic re-subscription, which should cancel your account at the end of the period. Go to "my account," "profile," "other," and there you uncheck "subscribe to a recurring payment." Hope this helps you!

I also had the same automatic recharge issue. I'm going to try the instructions you wrote BLSTR..... I hope it works to cancel everything!

The best option (if you can afford it, it's cheap) is to use the e-card system or tickets purchased from a tobacconist. Personally, I have the e-card system, which is offered by most banks. It generates a virtual banking code that can only be used once (like tickets bought from a tobacconist), so you don't even have to think about unchecking boxes; they won't be able to use your banking data anymore. It's really convenient!

Well, it's a site for thieves!
I also took out a one-month subscription in August, as it was clear to me that it was a one-month subscription and there shouldn't be any more charges.
I don't remember seeing a box that offered to charge me monthly.
So, I immediately called my bank and blocked my card, plus my insurance reimburses me!
It was only afterwards that I thought to check online if I was the only one who had been (clearly) robbed; I thought it was coming from the site but rather from nasty hackers...
This is really total nonsense!

I created an account on this site in August
you just need to go to the account options and uncheck the automatic subscription renewal box, then don't forget to SAVE your settings
Then, send an email to the site administrators asking them to kindly delete your account and personal data permanently (in English of course)
Personally, I had no problem, quick response from the administrators and no new charges.

Rapidgator is a very, very good service, and it is safe ...
They are very serious, we won't hold it against them for pushing for renewal, but everything is written and nothing prevents you from starting with a free account to get used to the interface.

I just got scammed by this rogue site. My registration dates back to 07/14/12 for 30 days via my credit card.
On 08/13/12, RAPIDGATOR renewed the subscription for 30 days and debited my bank account.
I filed a complaint with my bank and just received their response. Since it’s a subscription by card, I need to file a loss (easier) or theft report to get a new one issued. We have therefore immediately initiated a card cancellation.

You should read before subscribing... it's not a shady site as you say... The monthly re-subscription is automatic and it's stated when subscribing. Then you just need to go into your account settings to stop the payments, there's no need to block anything...

I have a Gold card but my bank tells me that it's not a purchase but a subscription and that in this case they can't do anything. I'm with CA.

I confirm the label of rogue site. Indeed, like many people, I subscribed to a rapidgator subscription which I considered particularly valuable.
After a first subscription (3 months), where, due to my lack of attention, I automatically renewed my subscription, I decided to cancel the automatic renewal of the latter.
To my surprise, a year later, I realized that I was still automatically renewed and therefore charged even though my choice to not have automatic renewal was properly recorded - and still is -
After contacting support, I received a response that omitted the possibility of a malfunction on their part even though everything proves otherwise: evidence of my inactivity on the site, on the login logs, on the downloads using my PREMIUM account.
I therefore recommend avoiding rapidgator or using the e-carte bleue system mentioned earlier.
