Hello everyone,
I bought a USB key from FNAC of the EMTEC 2.0 1GB brand, and I can't connect it to my computer (IOS WIN98 2E).
It does recognize a new device when I force it to add new hardware, but it cannot find the drivers in its Windows files.
I would like someone to provide a solution, either online or otherwise.
Thank you in advance, any information will be welcome.
PS: My USB key works fine on another computer with XP.

I have 2 Emtec USB keys of 2 and 4 GB C250. They work very well on the computer, but when I put them in my DVD player, they no longer work; it says "not readable" because it worked at startup. In addition, I deleted the folder that is inside when you buy it; could this be the cause? If so, can someone send me that famous file? EMTEC 2 and 4 GB keys.
Hello,
I finally found a solution and I can share it with you. ON OCT 8 I ALREADY LEFT A MESSAGE EXPLAINING MY ISSUE, on the emtec-international site there are only drivers for Windows 98 and they don’t work on Vista. I then went to the Fujitsu site, I selected my system (Vista 32 or 64; it’s noted on the sticker of your PC note: remember to check under your PC) and I downloaded the "chipset" driver which is a generic one and should normally enable all the devices you will install from now on. There you go, see you later!

I just bought the USB Bluetooth adapter and it doesn't work because it's asking for the disc that came with it, but the adapter was sold without anything, so I can't do anything with it. I need help, thank you for responding.
Hi there,
Honestly, the best solution is by far the following: forget Vista, it sucks!!
And never forget:
Microsoft, IS THE EVIL

Hi, I also had issues with this key. If you still have the case in which the key was, you will see that it is an Emtec 2.0 1GB C150B key. From there, you can download the driver from emtec-international.com.
Hello, I have a problem. Let me explain, I currently have an Emtec C150B USB key of 2GB that refuses to be installed on Vista because it says it cannot find appropriate drivers. It asks me to install the CD supplied with the device, but there wasn't one provided. Then it asks me to go to the manufacturer's website to download the appropriate driver. The problem is that the drivers on this site are only for Windows 98 SE and do not work on Windows Vista!!! I note that on the packaging of my USB key it says "works with Windows Vista", so I don't understand why I can't find anything to solve this problem. Thank you for your help.

Hello,
I had the same problem and found the solution on a blog...
Here it is:
Go to "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository".
There should normally be a folder called "usbstor.inf_8416e98e".
In that folder, copy the file called "usbstor.inf".
Then paste it into "C:\Windows\Inf".
Insert the USB drive.
It should work!
Manu.

Hello,
I bought a USB TV tuner key TNT 2.0 (model S810). A "mini-antenna" was included in the packaging, which I placed on the PC.
Like many people, it didn't work. So, after reading your message, I went to download the "presto-PVR" driver as indicated for this model of key. I now have the 'presto PVR" icon, but it still doesn't work:
Is there another operation to perform after this download?
However, when I insert the key into the PC, I do get a recognition signal. For your information, configuration: Windows XP
Can you help me?
Also, will the mini-antenna be enough?
Thank you in advance
and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I also have a problem with this key... but on my packaging it says it's an emtec C160B flash drive 1gb and not C150B... However, it is not mentioned anywhere on emtec-international
I never had any driver or anything issues with my previous flash drive... I absolutely know nothing about it... in any case, this one does not work... so I imagine I have to install something but I don't know what...
in fact, when I insert it it says "device not recognized"
I have a laptop with XP and a PC at my school that has Windows 98 or 2000...
does anyone know what I should do?
thank you
