Hello,

I have an Xbox 360, and I want to connect it to my Samsung BN68-01212A TV using an HDMI cable. When I connect my Xbox to the TV and switch to "HDMI" mode, it displays "Unsupported mode."

I changed to "Game" mode, but that didn't work. During my internet searches, they suggest a solution to set up the Xbox "blindly." However, the problem is that I don't know either the menu or the procedure to follow.

Please, what would be the solution?

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello, you can't connect it via HDMI and RJ, and when you switch the console, you also switch the TV with the little remote that goes with it? That will solve your "blind" problem. I have a PS3 and I did it this way to set it up in HD.

Thank you! How to "switch" the console and the TV? What maneuver should be executed?

So you connect the two cables to the console and the TV, and then set the TV to auxiliary for the console by pressing the "source" button, I believe, and you'll end up on the Xbox menu, having turned it on beforehand, of course. Then on the console, you switch the display to HD and then switch the TV as before.

Is the RJ cable for the internet connection? When I follow your advice using only the HDMI cable, it always displays "unsupported mode".

Sorry, I was mistaken; I was talking about the analog connection via RJ, my apologies.

Thank you, I succeeded; I just had to change the television because the first one was too large, so it couldn't adjust automatically!
      Thanks again!

Hi, when you turn on your Xbox, do you scroll through the pages to the right or do you press the X icon on your controller?
You go to the system tab and there you have the settings for your box.
