Hello, here I bought Fable The Lost Chapters and I can't play it with my Xbox 360 controller :(
I installed the drivers for the controller but when I plug in the controller and launch the game I have no options with the controller ... while when I go to 'Control Panel/Game Controllers' the controller shows OK and works correctly.

Xpadder Test (in French thanks to a patch, available on the publisher's site). This small software allows you to map keyboard and mouse keys to your gamepad. It works with all gamepads (PS3, Xbox 360, Logitech, Mad Catz, etc...). Here is the link: https://xpadder.com/

Hi, I’m having trouble with Fable on PC with the Xbox 360 controller; I’m using Xpadder to map keyboard keys to the game and to the controller.
But Fable on PC requires too many buttons, it’s a hassle.

I have Fable: The Lost Chapters and an Xbox 360 controller for Windows. I also use Xpadder. Everything works perfectly for all the other games I have, but when I launch Fable, nothing responds. I read your tutorial and made the modifications you indicated, but I still have nothing with my controller—neither Xbox nor PlayStation. Where could the issue come from and what more can I do?
Hello, I haven’t followed this topic for a while, sorry for my late reply :S You need all the files available for download on my blog and, imperatively, an Xbox 360 controller. Did you download both profile files that work with FABLE? You have to modify the xpadder settings for each game, so you must make sure that the Fable profile is properly selected.
I don’t think you’ll be able to play it with your controller.

I have the same problem as you, I have an Xbox 360 controller and the game Fable, I can’t get the game’s key configuration to respond to the controller.

It's not just about Fable that the damn controller doesn't respond well (like EA Games' games)... it makes you wanna tear your hair out, surely the controller is the least bulky and the most comfortable around... on top of paying an insane price, I hope they hurry their asses up to patch it quickly *?%$&"/$... otherwise it still works great anyway
I dropped it and I played Fable with the keyboard, but for your future video game purchases, I can tell you I don't regret my 360 controller, it works very well with Bioshock, Colin McRae Dirt, Tomb Raider Anniversary, The Bard's Tales, Virtua Tennis 3, Overlord, after that it's up to you to test the games or look them up, I know that for example with Oblivion it’s detected but it configures too poorly with the game's cameras.

Hello, did you have a software when you bought your Xbox 360 controller? Me neither. Crysis takes this pad into account but it's impossible to get it working. Do you have a little idea on this subject? Thanks.
