Hello,
I have a small wallpaper problem on my MacBook Pro. I chose a personal image as my desktop background, but it disappears at every startup, replaced by an Apple desktop image.

It's not working either.. But I found a solution on another forum. You need to go to Library/preferences and delete com.desktop.apple.plist and put it in the trash.
Personally, I couldn't find that file, so I took the risk of deleting the entire folder.. and it worked! (there were a few changes afterwards but no bugs..)

      It's not "com.desktop.apple.plist" but

User (the home) Library/Preferences and "com.apple.desktop.plist" and it's certainly there!!
But if you found another way to proceed, good for you ;-)

For those who have the same problem and cannot find the com.apple.desktop.plist file (nonexistent in my case), simply delete the com.apple.systempreferences.plist file.
Restart the computer and the issue is resolved! Your wallpaper will no longer change!

        Where should it be found?
