Lock screen wallpaper issue on Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite Solved

Question

Hello,
recently, every time I turn on my phone, it changes my lock screen wallpaper only and sets a pre-defined one by Xiaomi. No matter what I do, nothing changes. I tried clearing the caches of the carousel, deleted the data, and did the same with the wallpaper app. Does anyone have a solution?

Configuration: Android / Chrome 77.0.3865.92

Hello,
For those who have this issue on Xiaomi, I found the solution (I don't know if it will work for you)
First go to Theme > My Themes > then select the theme for iOS emojis > right above "apply" there are two selected boxes named "wallpaper" and "lock screen" you need to deselect both of these boxes

Then it will restart your phone, and everything will work.

Hello,  Same issue with my MI9T PRO. I disabled the permissions for the carousel app and tried several restarts, and it seems to be working.

Update: The manipulation on the carousel worked, I disabled all carousel permissions and it's working.

Hello,
On my side, the permissions are disabled, but one of the built-in wallpapers keeps resetting after a while.
However, when I set a different region in the settings, for example: Switzerland, everything works perfectly. My wallpaper stays. ????

To disable permissions: Settings > Manage applications > Search for the "Carousel Wallpaper" app > disable all permissions in "Other permissions"  However, this action does not resolve the issue...

I FOUND it youhouuuu (excuse me for this craziness I'm just happy) if you downloaded the IOS emojis remove them it's what's causing the themes to bug because it's not compatible

I have another technique if that doesn’t work.
Follow these steps:

settings > region > India (changing the region does absolutely nothing on your device, 100% safe)

Then go to theme > search for "iOS" > scroll down to the bottom where it says "font" then look for iOS 13.2 (if you can’t find it, click on "more">
Download > apply > restart your device > all set
